Five public spot books are read together: Binance XRPUSDT (market-data endpoint), Coinbase XRP-USD, Kraken XRP/USD, Bitstamp XRP/USD, and OKX XRP-USDT. If OKX fails, Bitfinex is used in that slot.

Consolidated mid is the median of each live venue’s touch. Touch spread is the best bid against the best ask across those venues, in basis points. It can print negative when the books cross.
